Bottom-seeded Missouri State men’s basketball saw its season end in a 70-54 loss to fifth-seed Illinois State in the opening round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in St. Louis.

Illinois State advances to play No. 4 Belmont at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
