ST. CHARLES — Orchard Farm opened its new gym for varsity play with two wins in a double header against St. Charles West on Jan. 26, 2024.
The boys won 62-56 and the girls won 54-37 that night in the state-of-the-art two-story gym complex. The school had just completed its move a few miles down Highway 94 weeks earlier during the Christmas break. It played games before the move in its old gym.
The new campus, located off Highway B, was made possible by a 55-cent tax increase passed in June 2020.
The gym has bleachers on both sides of the court level and a set of bleachers on one side of the upper level. The other portion of the second level is a weight room and other offices.
