Orchard Farm moved from its long-time Highway V location in January 2024.
The school, a few miles north on Highway 94 from the current location, was located amongst farm fields and had an elementary and middle school on the same site.
The high school is now used for middle school students.
While the campus dates back decade, the gymnasium complex was relatively new, funded by a 2003 bond issue to build a gym, double-sided stage, and cafeteria complex, along with other enhancements.
“Outside of our community, I believe that many people think that we are too far out and, unfortunately, we do not get the chance to host as many postseason events as I would like,” Blake Arnette, Orchard Farm director of activities and athletics, told the Post-Dispatch in October 2023. “I think our new location and facilities will put us in a position to host many district tournaments which gives our student athletes another opportunity to play in front of their friends, family and community.”
The school moved to Highway B after a surge in growth spurred from new home construction in nearby New Town.
